Unlock iPhone 5 On iOS 6.0.1 Baseband 1.01.00 With R-SIM 7

Apple iPhone 5 might be the coolest product from Apple at the moment, but we feel the device is highly priced, and if un-affordable for an average earning person. Well, in case you are one of those willing to purchase a locked Apple iPhone 5 [which is much much cheaper than the factory unlocked one, because it is available on contract with carrier networks], you would have to use software or hardware unlocking solutions to get your iPhone 5 working. Talking about software solutions, we have UltraSn0w which cannot unlock iPhone 5 baseband 1.01.00 on iOS 6. Coming to hardware solutions, we have this once popular Gevey-Turbo SIM which stopped working after Apple introduced baseband 4.11.08. Under such circumstances, what to do to get your iPhone 5 working with your favorite mobile carrier? Well, seems like we have the right solution for you.

Recently, another useful working hardware unlocking solution has been released. By hardware, we mean a SIM interposer, i.e, you need to place the chip in between your iPhone 5 SIM tray, and your actual SIM card to kick-start the process. R-SIM7 is the new SIM interposer we are talking about, and the main reason for attention is that R-SIM7 can actually unlock any baseband including 1.01.00 on iPhone 5, and 3.0.04 on iPhone 4S running on iOS 6.0 or iOS 6.0.1.
In short, R-SIM7 can unlock any baseband on iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S running on iOS 6.0 or iOS 6.0.1 at the moment. Currently, the interposer only supports iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, so in case you are locked to an unlockable baseband on iPhone 4, there’s still no good news for you.  Here’s more from their official website:
R-SIM 7 is developed by the R-SIM team and SAM DEV team, which supports both iPhone 4S and 5. R-SIM7 works by simply inserting both your SIM card and R-SIM7 into your iPhone, going intoSettings > Phone > SIM Applications and then configuring the options present like selecting the carrier you are trying to connect to. After the settings have been configured you restart your iPhone and it will work with the chosen carrier.
You can purchase R-SIM7 from their official store here, at a price of $23.90, which is a reasonable price they are asking for a SIM-interposer.
